Happy Halloween, Y'all!

I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween! Be safe tonight as you trick or treat!! In case you are wondering what Alex and Matthew are goi ng to be here are few pictures for you to see. Darth Vader and Shrek. Or Shreky is the way Matt says it. Of course Ugly Betty is what I will be. And Kevin? Well. He will wear his 'I heart witches' shirt again I am sure. Scary.

Happy Halloween Birthday, Maddie!!

Just sending a shout out to one of my favorite ghouls!! My niece Maddie is 7 today!!

Ugly Brenda

As most of you may or may not know. I love the show Ugly Betty!!! Love it. Love her. And seeing how I kinda look like her anyway. I thought hey, easy costume. I am Ugly Betty. Um, Ugly Brenda. Ha. Halloween is fun. Trick or Treat!

And Now A Matthew Moment

Yesterday, Matt helped me put out our blow up pumpkin in the yard. Alex was napping. He was so excited as you can see in the picture. Although, I think he may be getting his holidays mixed up because he kept saying, "Pumpkin, ho, ho, ho!" Ha!

Best Buds

I took this today. I thought Alex, Preston, and Will looked so cute with their backpacks. They love school and each other. I love them. They are such sweet boys. I love how they are each doing something different with their hands in this pic. Look at those pearly whites! Cute.

Happy Birthday, Pa

Happy Bday, Pa!!! We hope you had a great day. We love you!!!

Matt likes to relax.

Matthew loves to kick back and relax every once and again. He takes after his mama.

Update

I just wanted to let you all know that my friend Linda Beth suffered a "slight" stroke. She has been moved to a Rehab unit at St. Joseph's hospital. She will begin aggressive rehab for 3 hours each day. They will re-evaluate her at the end of the week. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

Prayers for Linda Beth

I have just learned that one of my friends from church Linda Beth Perry is in the hospital. I am so sad to hear this and just wish I could at this very second be by her side. Instead I am with her in prayer. And I ask any of you that will, please say a little prayer for Linda Beth. Pray that the doctor's find out what is ailing her so that she will be able to come home soon. Please pray for her husband Robert, too. These are two very special people to me. Thank you.

Halloween Pjs

And Now A Matthew Moment

I hope you can see this. It is kinda dark. This video shows Matthew picking up his soccer ball (he cheats a little) placing it closer to the goal and then giving it a kick. It is too funny!! I love this kid. He keeps me laughing. And on my toes. Oh, yeah he does. Enjoy!

Theatre fans...

Whee!

Yikes!

Our neighbor's tree fell on our fence during the terrible rain storm we had yesterday afternoon. The wind really picked up. It came on so quick. Looks like we'll have to fix a few boards. That is all thank goodness. I am thankful for my neighbor, too. The last tree that fell landed on their roof. They had some major damage that time. I am hoping for a dry day today!

Yay, holidays!!

The holidays are upon us. I am getting ready. And excited. I ordered the boys matching Christmas pjs today. And I already have three presents wrapped and ready to go under the tree. Yay !! Plus, Halloween is just weeks away. We are going to carve pumpkins on Friday and decorate Halloween cookies, too. I love it. The weather is getting a little cooler. Yay , fall!! Yay , holidays!!

What was he thinking about?

I caught Alex in deep thought this past weekend. He and Matt were in the double stroller. I wish I knew what it was he was thinking about.

And Now A Matthew Moment

At breakfast one morning, Matthew ate his pancakes. Made his happy plate. Then yelled, "I done". Then he said, "Ok, put back." Until I heard the drawer slam shut did I know what that meant. He was done with his fork. So, he put it back. With the clean ones. The plate did end up in the sink. Funny. That is my Matt.

My Lil' Pumpkins

Like Brothers

I love this picture of Preston and Alex. We took it this spring. They are cousins but, act like brothers. They are sweeties!!

Fun Finds

This is for the person who has everything. Or do they? What about monogrammed toilet paper? Click here!

Alex and his disguises!

Alex's new word this week is disguises. Here he is in a few of them. He is too funny! The one with the funky teeth I love. The little hat and braids belongs to a stuffed animal Matthew made at the TeddyBear Stuffin' Shack . The feathered mask he made at school.

Candy Corn Kisses

I was in Target last week and found these new Candy Corn Kisses. I bought a bag because I thought they were cute and colorful. Something to add to my Halloween candy dish. When you open the bag the smell is awesome. The kiss itself does not taste to much like real candy corn but, the white chocolate is so creamy and yummy. You forget about that quickly. You can't eat just one. The whole family loved them so much over the weekend I had to go and buy another bag yesterday. It is a fun and yummy treat!

Goal!!!!

Alex scored his first goal!! This is his third season at the YMCA and his first ever goal!! He is pretty proud of himself! And so are we. His new team is the Lions. He is loving every minute of soccer. Our nephew Preston is on the team, too! As well as several other good friends. It is fun getting to see the kids play together. Go Lions! Go Alex!
