And Now A Matthew Moment

This is a Polaroid compliments of the Seabrook Police Department . We went to the Seabrook Easter egg hunt again this year with my cousins. This year's pic was not as great as last year's . Matthew wasn't in the mood for pics with the Easter Bunny this year! As you can see. We had a great time otherwise. Both the boys found prize eggs and won some cool prizes. Wonder what next year's pic will look like?! LoL!

Sleeve Face

This, I, think is too cool for words. And funny. What is Sleeve Face? Sleeveface is one or more persons obscuring or augmenting any part of their body or bodies with record sleeve(s) causing an illusion. See for yourself at Sleeveface.com ! I like when people are creative. And or so bored they come up with funny stuff to do. I miss albums and album covers. Hmmm...do not be too surprised if I come up with my own sleeve face. Stay tuned. :P

Another reason...

Last night's Miss Guided was so good. There was a great scene that paid homage to The Breakfast Club movie! It was awesome!! Another reason I love that show. Click here to see the entire episode. It is just so fun.

And Now A Matthew Moment

This is Matthew's way of coloring eggs. What is that saying, " Don't put all your eggs in one basket ." Or " His cup runneth over ." That's my Matt. He always does things his own way! And I love him for that. --P.S. For those of you with an eye for detail, the long neck beer next to Matt belongs to my Dad. Ha!

Easter Sunday: It Was A Hoppy Day!

My Favorite Things

I have a new favorite TV show. Miss Guided on ABC . It is a really cute light hearted comedy about a high school guidance counselor, Judy Greer , who plays Becky Freeley . She is one of my fave actors. Love her. She is a hoot. There have been 3 episodes that have aired. You can watch them on the Miss Guided website. Also starring is Chris Parnell from SNL fame. He is awesome in this. So funny. If you are tired of reality TV and tired of waiting for your fave shows to return since the writer's strike ended, check this show out.

Easter: The Day After

My Favorite Things

Actually, this is one of my fave new ideas made out of one of my fave things ( Cheetos rock!). Thanks to my lovely neighbor down the street for giving me the idea, I love making these fun treats. Perfect for Easter. Yes! They look like carrots but, they are really Cheetos in a disposable cake decorating bag . Yay . So fun and cute, too. I love these. So, easy to make. And so ymmy to eat! Happy Easter!

Something to do with your little "Who".

I took the boys to see Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who this week. It is such a great movie. A great book, too. We love Dr. Seuss. The boys both loved this movie. Alex wants to know when the DVD comes out. LoL ! It is great for the whole family. Go see it! After the movie we went to IHOP for dinner. They have several fun meals in promotion of the Horton movie. Alex got JoJo's breakfast that came with green eggs and ham and some fun colorful pancakes. They even have a fun drink you can order for the kids. The whole afternoon was a Seussical one! So, if you are looking for something fun to do with your little "who" maybe a movie and breakfast for dinner or lunch is something you can do!

7 out of 12...

In my poll last week, "Do you make your bed everyday?" (I ask the tough questions. Ha!) Seven out 12 said, "No." And five said, "Yes." I was in the Yes category . Surprised? If you know me then I am sure your are not. :P I have let it go from time to time. Not often. Alex, 5 yrs., makes his bed everyday, too. Even if he wakes up in the middle of the night. Last night for example, he woke up crying that he had a bad dream. It was 2 a.m. something like that. I barely opened my eyes. He cried out I had a bad dream. So, I say OK come down here and sleep with mommy. He says, " OK , just a minute." I meet him at the stairs. I said what where you doing. He said fixing my bed. Sure enough. I am writing this. He is asleep in my bed and his bed is already made. That's my boy! Matthew I can already tell will not be a bed maker. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Thanks for taking my poll. They are fun.

Words to Live By

“Treat your family like friends and your friends like family.” Feeling blessed to have both. Today was a great day. Fun. Joyful. Happy. I had such a fulfilling day flipping your house. Teamwork. We all did good! Those girls are sweethearts. I hope you are reading this. Wink. Wink. XOXO

20/15

I went to my 6 week post-op lasik appt. today. I am seeing 20/15!!! Everything looks good they say. I don't have to return for a year!! Yay!! I still can't believe I can see w/o my glasses. And by the way I still try and take off my glasses at night when I go to bed. Ha. I feel silly when that happens. :)

And Now A Matthew Moment

Nana's glasses. Matt loves to put on Nana's glasses here lately. Doesn't he look like Chicken Little?!

Boys Joust Want to Have Fun: Part Deux

Last year we went to Strake Jesuit 's Spring Fling and had so much fun. So much fun that this year we went back for some more. Our sister in-law Linda works there. As you can see Preston and Alex had some fun jousting again .

Easter Buddies!

My sweet boys. I am so proud of them. They had their Easter parties today at school. They were both in good moods and ready for pictures. They actually smiled. And posed. Miracle. I wish they were still in good moods. This second they are running around on sugar highs, kinda whiny , and on no naps! Early to bed tonight!! Woo- hoo ! I hope your Easter time festivities will bring new fun springtime memories for each and every one of you! I just hope that next year Easter will be in April where it belongs! :)

Girl Crazy at Five?

Hmmm. What do you think?? I am in trouble aren't I? And all these are older gals. Yikes. ;P

Its Friday!! Woo-Hoo!!!

This picture of Maddie sums up how I feel about today. Wave'n my hands in the air like I just don't care and smilin' from ear to ear! The weekend is here!!! Woo-hoo!! Have a good one y'all!

Don't Forget...

This weekend we spring forward. Yup. We lose an hour of sleep this weekend. :( So, don't forget to move your clock up on Saturday night.

Disney Double Stroller Duo: That's How They Rolled!

President Bush Tap Dances

President Bush joked with reporters and showed off his moves on the White House steps while waiting for Sen. John McCain. (March 5) From: AP U.S. News. I think this is cute. Click the pic to watch. You could tell he was tired of waiting. :) I know that most people can't wait for him to be out of the White House . I bet he kinda can't wait to be out and get on with his life either. I wonder if this little dance will end up being a skit on SNL .

Being Silly!

On our Disney trip we rented a double stroller for the entire 6 days. This was the one at Disney-MGM . Each park had a different color. After a few days the boys got pretty cozy in their D isney double stroller. Here they are acting up a bit. It is funny how many pics I got of them in these strollers at each park. Ha!! They spent a lot of time in them.

My Favorite Things

I love gum!! Super Bubble is my favorite. But the other day while I was in Walgreens I came across this neat 60 piece jar of gum. I love the flavor. I also love that it fits nicely in my cup holder in my car. Yay! Love it! They had two other flavors, too. Yum.

A nice day.

We spent last Sunday at the San Jancinto Monument . The weather was so great. We went up to the top, walked around the museum part, then hung outside a bit. The boys played football and soccer. Then we met up with my dad, and my aunts and had dinner at the Monument Inn . It was a good time!
