New York, New York!!!

Alex and I traveled to New York City for Spring Break to visit my sister. She has lived there a little over a year. Sandi and Gabi Alvarado also went with us. A couple of highlights for me were meeting actor Jay Mohr in Central Park . He is currently on the CBS show Gary Unmarried . He was walking his dog Mable. He was in NYC to tape Rachel Ray and Martha Stewart shows. He was so nice! I also saw one of the ladies from the reality TV show The Real Housewives of New York City . I saw Alex McCord . She was at the Central Park Zoo with her boys. Our time there went by too fast. It was good seeing my sister. We all had the best time!

And Now A Matthew Moment

This picture doesn't need much explaining. Matt is screaming his head off (see the veins in his neck). Click the pic to see it bigger. And the kids (Kennedy, Gabi, and Landon) around him are covering their ears. He is my silly boy.

Matthew's First Soccer Practice

Yesterday was Matthew's first ever soccer practice. I must brag a little so here it comes. He is a natural. Just like his dad and brother. He looked so cute out there doing all his drills. He does take a few more water breaks than most of the kids but, that is OK . I am so proud of him. Kevin is the coach for his team. The kids picked and voted on their team name yesterday. The name is...wait for it...The Horsies . Yes, that is what I had said. Horsies . Matthew has a few friends on the team already Cash Alvarado and Izzy Espinosa . Here are a few pics.

Wordless Wed.

100s Day

Last month, Alex celebrated his 100th day in Kindergarten. They celebrated by bringing in 100 things to share with the class. Some kids brought 100 pennies, 100 buttons, etc. Alex brought 100 wiggly eyes (the craft kind). Here are a few things he made for 100s Day. It is hard to believe in just a few months he will be finished with his first year of school.

And Now A Matthew Moment

Matthew got a hold of my camera the other day and went to town. He asked me if he could take a picture of me. I said sure. Well, he took more than just a picture of me. Here are all the pictures he took.
