Thanks Linda

Yesterday I got a wonderful surprise when I opened the mailbox. These two pics and a nice note from my sis in-law Linda . These were taken by someone at the church where my brother in-law Brian works. They were taken at a Christmas event we went to at BHUMC . I thought it was so sweet of Linda to send them to me. Thanks, girl. They are great pics. I love them!! And to the person at Bay Harbour that took the pics, thank you.

And Now A Matthew Moment

Need I explain?!

I ♥ Geeks!

I love Geek Squad! Especially Eric, the greatest geek in the world! He fixed my computer today!!! YAY!!! I am back online. Yes!! He said I had some pretty bad stuff going on with my computer. But thanks to him and Geek Squad it is all better. Yes!! So, after about 7 days maybe more. I am back online!!! Current mood: happy

My Computer Is Sick! And I Am Sad.

Yup. I have fallen victim to a major computer virus. I am posting this from Sandi's computer. Thanks Sandi! My good friends at Geek Squad will be out on Tuesday to try and help me out. Tuesday!! That is years away. So, If I do not respond to emails, messages, etc. Or make any new blog posts. Please bare with me. I have been told not to turn on my computer until the Geeks come to check it out. Hopefully, I will be back on-line next week!! Until then have a great Memorial Day weekend!!

Team Shamu

We went to SeaWorld San Antonio , May 11-13. We had so much fun. We went with four other families. We all got there on Friday. We each met at the hotel . Once we had all arrived we went to the RiverCenter Mall for dinner. Then we took a boat ride around the river. Saturday we all went to SeaWorld. We made it when it opened at 10. Hey, that is good with the number of people, kids, cars, etc. that we had. We all had a great time. The weather was great. Not to hot. The kids all had fun. And so did the grown-ups. After SeaWorld, the kids swam at the hotel. Then the mama's went out for dinner and drinks. It was fun!! Sunday we all got up and headed out. We were the last to leave. We drove to Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch on the way home. The boys had a blast. Kevin and I did, too. Good times! ! Alex is already asking when he can go back to SeaWorld. He loves that place.

SeaWorld Here We Come

We are SeaWorld bound. Alex 's favorite place to be. I think Matthew may like it better this time around, too. I hope all the mom's out there have a wonderful Mother's Day!

A Tribute...

Mom. Mother. Momma. Mama. Mommy. Memaw. Mimi. Nana. Grandma. Grandmother. Godmother. Anyway you say it. It means love. It does. I love my Mama. I love being a mom!! It is the hardest job in the world. But it is the best job in the world!! To all the mama's that I know I love you guys. I hope that this Mother's Day you can find time to be still and enjoy your day. Happy Mother's Day!!

Season Ends for The Unicorns

Alex's soccer team had their last game of the season on Saturday. Alex almost scored a goal. It hit the side pole. It was so close. He did so great this season. All the kids did. I am kinda sad it is over already. Kevin was a great coach. After the game we all headed over to CiCi's in Kingwood for the soccer party. It was fun! The kids loved receiving their trophies. Thanks to all who made it out to watch Alex play this season. Alex loves his soccer! He is already talking about next season.

And Now A Matthew Moment

First of all know this, Matthew loves to climb. On anything. The thing is, he is not so good at getting off or down the things he climbs on. Example: the couch, Alex's stool he uses to reach the sink, a kitchen chair, etc. So, until you hear a loud cry, grunting, or wailing sound in the distance you don't know what or where he has climbed next. When you find him he is just waiting to be saved. That brings us to this morning. I left the boys in the playroom for a brief moment, when I hear from above, that is what you get Matt. Sorry, Matt. I tried to tell you Matt. Alex is such a great big brother. And I have no I idea where he has heard those phrases before. Then the loud crying, grunting, and wailing began. So, I ran up there to see what had happened. And this is what I found. Matt stuck on the table he climbed up on. Never a dull moment. P.S. The mess in the playroom that you can see...that is another story!

Tales From The Crock Pot

Today I am making a roast. I threw it in the crock pot. Got out the onion. Cut it. Threw it in. Then got out some celery. Pepper. Salt. Cut the celery. Threw it in. This time I looked in to make sure I had enough. And look what I saw. This funny face staring at me. No joke. That is how the onion landed. I did not notice until a few minutes later. Funny. Had to share. Made me smile for sure. Hope that means the meat is happy. So happy that when I eat it, it will be the best roast ever! Ha! Have a great day!!
