That is what he had said...

Alex has been attending V acation B ible S chool at Second Baptist Church in Kingwood this week. He has been having a great time. And all week has come home and been telling me about the bible stories come to life that he has seen and heard this week. On the way home yesterday he told me that he had figured out something. He said, I figured out that the Holy Bible is when the bible book has all the stories. You know like the 'whole' thing he said. Whole-y Bible. And then he said when it is just the 'Bible' it only has part of the stuff. Just some of the stories. I was trying hard not to crack a smile or laugh that I just went along with it. He gets mad at us if we laugh. Thinks we are making fun of him. Oh, my. The things kids say. It is funny to listen to them trying to figure things out! But yup, that is what he had said! :)

Oh, Sweet Child(s) Of Mine!

My little guitar hero es playin' their air guitars to one of their (thanks to their dad) favorite songs. Alex is way into it and plays his guitar with a passion. Hmm, maybe he needs lessons. And watch Matthew. He keeps his eye on his brother most of the time while barely moving his hands. His guitar strokes not so big. In fact the way he moves his hands close together and slowly it must be a teeny tiny guitar. Ha! These two crack me up on a daily basis. Their dad letting them listen to GNR that doesn't crack me up so much. :P

Like Father Like Son

This is a new segment I am going to call 'like father like son'. The following photos make give you an idea why. ;) Aww, I just love my guys!!

Alpha Beta Psi!

It is sooooo great to have friends you can sit and talk to for hours. Dressed in whatever you want, talk about whatever you want, eat and drink whatever you want, and do or say whatever you want without a care or worry. As long as you are with them is what matters. And there is "always" a laugh or memory to be made, too. And you know that no matter when, where or why you see them again...we will just pick up where we left off. I am so lucky to have friends like that. Lucky for friends like that. I love them with all my heart! My friends. ;)

And Now A Matthew Moment

Here is a picture of Matthew on our last day in South Dakota. We had just gotten to Mt. Rushmore for one last peak before we went to the airport. He complained that it was too bright. So, I gave him my sunglasses. He was being a real "toot" that day! He got lots of laughs because of his 'tude and his Tshirt. (The shirt says: I still live with my parents.)

Going to South Dakota!

Tomorrow we are heading to South Dakota! We are excited. We had a week to recoup from our week at Crystal Beach. I can't wait to come home and post pics and catch everyone up on Brenda and The Boys! I hope you are all having a great summer. We have. It is whizzing by though!! Talk to you guys soon! -Brenda
