That is what he had said...

Alex has been attending Vacation Bible School at Second Baptist Church in Kingwood this week. He has been having a great time. And all week has come home and been telling me about the bible stories come to life that he has seen and heard this week. On the way home yesterday he told me that he had figured out something. He said, I figured out that the Holy Bible is when the bible book has all the stories. You know like the 'whole' thing he said. Whole-y Bible. And then he said when it is just the 'Bible' it only has part of the stuff. Just some of the stories. I was trying hard not to crack a smile or laugh that I just went along with it. He gets mad at us if we laugh. Thinks we are making fun of him. Oh, my. The things kids say. It is funny to listen to them trying to figure things out! But yup, that is what he had said! :)

That is the cutest thing. Don't worry Mia and Emma get mad when we laugh, too. They don't understand that we're only laughing because they are so darn cute.

Priceless Brenda! It is so great that you are writing this down - you don't want to forget a gem like that! My nephew Logan told us, "In the bible Jesus says you should not laugh at people" - we call it the first book of Logan. We explained to him that when people laugh, they are enjoying what you have to say - he doesn't mind us laughing anymore. It was easier to teach him that than to try to keep from laughing all the time!

Disney Double Stroller Duo: That's How They Rolled!

Saw It On Pinterest

Its been a while since my last post. Fail. I love to blog. I don't why I don't just sit and do it. Even if its just for me. Its nice to look back. Like a diary or photo album. ANYWAY. Before Christmas, I saw this super cute idea on Pinterest. Wrapping your kids door with crepe paper. They can bust through it. You can do this for Christmas or their birthdays, too. We did it for Christmas!! It was super fun!! I waited until they were sound asleep and went up and wrapped their door ways with crepe paper in Christmas colors. Christmas morning they busted through it to come and see what Santa brought them. They thought it was so much fun!! I will do it again this year. It might also be fun to do for the last day of school or the first day of summer and or the first day of school. Ideas are endless. Thanks, Pinterest!!
