Third one is the charm.

We went to see Toy Story 3 yesterday. I knew I would like it because I have seen the other two Toy Story movies and liked them. I did not know however that I would LOVE TS3 as much as I did. I laughed, cried, clapped, and laughed some more. It has something for everyone. Our whole family loved it. We can't wait to see it again. Go see it!! It is awesome. Two thumbs totally up!! You don't even need kids to go see it. Just go. I think you will love it. Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®

Road trips, oh how they have changed.

When I was a kid my dad always took off two weeks in the summer. We would take these two weeks and head out on some kind of road trip . Most of the time it would be to Brownsville, Tx where I was born and grew up. We would pack up and head out the four of us. I think we would pack a cooler with food and snacks. My Dad was not a fan of making stops. He wanted to make "good" time. This meant that we had to hold our bladders a lot longer than we would like to. This might be the reason I can hold it so long now. Thanks, Dad. Anyway. We are currently as I type on a family road trip. It got me thinking about my family road trips as a kid compared to road trips now as far as all the " techie" kinds of toys and must haves we take on trips now. Back in the day we took books to read. My Dad picked the radio station. You were forced to listen to what your parents listened to. We had a favorite stuffed animal and maybe some coloring books, too. BUT that is really it. I do thi...

And Now A Matthew Moment

Today Kevin found two children's Claritin in the guest bath trash can. I give the boys a Claritin and vitamins everyday. When I do I always assume that they are taking their allergy pill and vitamins. Well, I learned differently today. After, KP found the pills he called the boys over and had a little talk with them. He (holding the evidence in his hand) told the boys, "you are not in trouble, but you need to tell me who did this." He holds up the trash can (Exhibit A) and points in to expose the pills. He is such a Lawyer. ;) He said, Matt raised his hand and said, "Me. I did it." Come to find out Matt has been throwing away his pills this week and only eating the gummy vitamins. I so wish I had taken a picture of the little purple pills in the trash. It is a guest bath trash so there was nothing else in the can but, the pills. Anyway, Matt admitted to the disposing of his meds and was quite proud of himself if I might say. His punishment? He had to retake hi...

And Now A Matthew Moment

Matt has a lovie he carries around and sleeps with named Doggie. If he isn't holding it he is always looking for it. Today I opened the pantry and look who I found in there. Wonder why he decided to drop Doggie off in there? Oh, Matthew.
