Vacation Bible School came and went so fast! We had a blast!! We had over 390 kids attend and had over 130 volunteers. It was an amazing week. Full of many blessings, new friendships, and a ton of memories. I want to thank everyone who was a part of it and who helped to make it a huge success. I just can't thank you enough. And to Stephanie, you are a rockstar. I truly enjoyed every last minute. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication. And mostly for your friendship. It was a fun ride! Good luck to you at LUMC. I am going to miss you!!

This is a Matthew Moment as told by Stephanie Dement. She was witness to a Matthew Moment in the flesh. LoL! I can laugh at it now. She and I thought it would give my sister a nice chuckle. That is who she wrote the following for. I thought you might all get a laugh about it, too. It will 'crack' you up I am sure. So, she writes: Okay -- I get to tell this story. . .This morning, I meet Brenda, Matt & Alex at Denny's for a VBS planning breakfast, before we go to AUMC to work! Bribery for Matt & Alex -- who are we kidding! Anyway, as we are leaving the restaurant (waiting to pay our bills), here is the conversation: Alex: Mom, I think I smell poo-poo! Bren: Aww, Matt -- did you poop your pants? Matt: No -- I didn't poop my pants. Alex: Did you? Matt: No, I didn't. Look, see no poop! Hello!! I miss my blog!!!! I just have not had time to sit and post as much as I'd like to. I am very busy with V acation B ible S chool. You can either find me at church or in my dining room aka VBS Headquarters. Being the Director of VBS has been overwhelming. At the same time that my plate is full my cup runneth over with many blessing because of it though. In just 13 days me and all the awesome over 100 volunteers, and over 400 kiddos of my church and community will be going to Camp E.D.G.E.! We will Experience and Discover God Everywhere!! Yesterday at lunch Matthew filled his little ketchup cup full of french fries and then bent over to eat them with his mouth. He keeps us entertained for sure.
