Can I just say that I am so sad that Lady Bird died. I really liked and admired her. I am a closet fan. I copied this quote I found today. I like what Mr. Moyers said: "It is unthinkable to me that she's gone. She was so much a part of our landscape, so much a part of our lives," Bill Moyers, a television host and former aide to President Lyndon Johnson.
I saw her once. She was on her lawn chair at the LBJ Ranch. Our tour bus was passing by and she waved. A treat said the tour guide. She rarely came out during tours, I guess. Lucky me!
