Yes. That is right. Because the months go by so fast and because I love Halloween so much, I have decorated for Halloween already. I want to enjoy every minute of it. Orange is everywhere. I love it! Halloween, fall, new tv shows, cooler weather...this time of year makes me happy!!

This is a picture of me and some of my very favorite ladies. It is my women's group at church. We just had our annual Fall Festival at church.

Ok . As you know from my last post, I am excited about the new season on television. Well, tonight I watched one of my all time faves How I Met Your Mother . It did not disappoint. It was hilarious!!! I love that show. Well, so after HIMYM a new show debuted called The Big Bang Theory . I have to tell you it was GREAT. One being it has NERDS!! And I love nerds. Why? Because they are one smart. And for some reason this means some are very dry and funny. And this to me makes them cute, too. I just loved the whole show. It left me wanting more. My fave character so far, Sheldon , was played by an actor by the name of Jim Parsons . Who by the way happens to have been born and raised here in Houston. He graduated from UH ! Holla ! He was excellent in this show. Check it out next week or on YouTube .

I love TV. I have since I was a kid. So, this time of year is also exciting to me because of all the season premieres. I will be watching How I Met Your Mother , Two and A Half Men , Ugly Betty , The Office , Grey's ...Yes!! The TIVO is set.

It is beginning to look a lot like fall at our house.

Make up my mind!! I have changed my blog up a bit in the last few weeks. I just can't decide how I like it best. Orange is my fave color. So, I have tried to bring it back to that. We'll see. The color it is this very second reminds me of fall. And all the colors I so love. Today the scarecrow is going up outside. Got the fall wreath on the door already. Yay! Hope you guys don't mind all the changes anyway.

I have been going through pictures. I found this one of me, Sandi, Kellie, and Jennifer. We all have bangs and wine coolers. This was taken in the mid-90s. Funny!! Now we all have mom hairdos and probably wouldn't mind a wine cooler or two here and there. Ha!!

Everyone looks so happy. So smiley. They had all come out to Austin to visit us. We were at the Salt Lick . Oh, the memories!!

Alex loves school. He loves to talk about it every second he gets. He loves Ms. Janelle and Ms. Stacey, his teachers. He looks forward to going to school. And lately, if he does something exciting, or if he sees something neat on tv he says, "Oh, I am going to tell that to Ms. Janelle and Ms. Stacey." He loves school. I think that is so cool!

I just love the weather we are having. It has been sunny and not so humid. I love it!! Fall is in the air. Pumpkins will soon be every where. Yay! Enjoy.

Yes, my life as of lately is full of Matthew moments. He is almost two is why I guess. I just pick the funniest of Matthew moments to share. Or the ones I don't have to stop and clean up. That brings us to yesterday. I don't know where I was when this happened but, I was dusting the living room when I found this little gem. My vase of flowers. I like to keep fresh flowers around when I can. Last week H.E.B. had a dozen roses on sale for $7.99. So I bought myself some. Love the splash of color they provide the room. Anyway , as I am dusting in that room I found that Mr. Matthew had decided to rearrange them for me. Ha. Why I love it is because you can almost picture him picking out a flower to smell and then putting it back. But his way. Probably thinking she will never know. What am I going to do with him!

The Women's Ministry is having their annual Fall Festival at Atascocita United Methodist Church . It will be fun for the whole family. What a way to kick off the fall season!

Yes, although still some what bald Matt got a haircut for the first time today. We just thought it would be best to get him used to getting a haircut now before he refuses to later. So, we took him to see Lauren. Our favorite hair stylist!!! She has been cutting Alex's hair for almost two years now. She is the nicest, sweetest person! She cuts all the Parks boys hair! And she does my hair, too. She works at Color Me Crazy in Orleans Square. Matt did pretty well. He went after Alex. Because Matt, wants to do everything like his big bro. We thought he would for sure sit after seeing Alex do it. He sat like a big boy by himself at first. Then Dad had to step in and let him sit in his lap. No major tears were shed. Thanks, Lauren!! We love Matt's new do! :)

I can hardly wait for the premier of the second season of Ugly Betty!! It is gonna be even bettyer than the first. :)
