Its been a while since my last post. Fail. I love to blog. I don't why I don't just sit and do it. Even if its just for me. Its nice to look back. Like a diary or photo album. ANYWAY. Before Christmas, I saw this super cute idea on Pinterest. Wrapping your kids door with crepe paper. They can bust through it. You can do this for Christmas or their birthdays, too. We did it for Christmas!! It was super fun!! I waited until they were sound asleep and went up and wrapped their door ways with crepe paper in Christmas colors. Christmas morning they busted through it to come and see what Santa brought them. They thought it was so much fun!! I will do it again this year. It might also be fun to do for the last day of school or the first day of summer and or the first day of school. Ideas are endless. Thanks, Pinterest!!
Yes, although still some what bald Matt got a haircut for the first time today. We just thought it would be best to get him used to getting a haircut now before he refuses to later. So, we took him to see Lauren. Our favorite hair stylist!!! She has been cutting Alex's hair for almost two years now. She is the nicest, sweetest person! She cuts all the Parks boys hair! And she does my hair, too. She works at Color Me Crazy in Orleans Square. Matt did pretty well. He went after Alex. Because Matt, wants to do everything like his big bro. We thought he would for sure sit after seeing Alex do it. He sat like a big boy by himself at first. Then Dad had to step in and let him sit in his lap. No major tears were shed. Thanks, Lauren!!
