I LOVE THESE COOKIES!!!!!!!!! You can get them at HEB!! They are so yummy!! Everytime I make 'em my dad thinks I made them from scratch!! LOL!! Me. That is funny!! You pull them apart and bake. Yay!! Instant goodness!! Don't look at the nutritional value. They have oatmeal and cranberries. Fruit and grains. That is good for you. Ha!!

So, I have some stuff that popped in my head. First one is a WHY thing. WHY is it that EVERY time I am on the phone Alex and Matthew all of us sudden have a gazillion things they just HAVE to tell me right then and there? And as soon as I hang up they mysteriously disappear . And when I call their name they are no where to be found. Huh!?! WHY??? UGH!! Then the other day I was thinking how cool it was to be a kid and be able to PRANK/CRANK call people. No it was not nice to do. But fun!! And since there was no caller I.D. or *69, we were never found out!! Heee , He, He!! I feel bad for kids today. How sad! Ha. Crazy random thoughts, huh? Yeah. I know. Whatever.

Well, tonight Matthew is sleeping in a 'big boy' bed. Kevin took off the front of his crib. Oh, how sad this mama is. My baby is not a baby. He is sooooo excited. He wants to show everyone his bed. We just got back from a week in Pennsylvania . We flew into Philadelphia . My sister met us there. Which was such a treat. She spent the whole week with us. Sunday to Sunday! It was fun. We went to Sesame Place two days. We drove through the Amish country. Went to Hershey . Spent some time at Winterthur Gardens . Stopped in to see the National Christmas Center . We even made time to do some outlet mall shopping. We had a blast! Here is the slideshow of our trip.

Ok. So, if you have ever walked into a Hallmark store you have seen her. MAXINE !!! A little old lady who is a bit on the sarcastic side. Just a little bit. I love her! I think there was an email I got recently that asked if you were more like Maxine or Martha? I am a little of both I think. Anyway! I saw the real life Maxine while at a character dinner at Sesame Place, PA !! What? Who? Yes, in the midst of Elmo, Cookie Monster, Zoe, etc. there she was sitting right in front of us...Maxine live and in the flesh! And drinking her coffee. Look for yourselves. We went to Padre June 10-14. It was so much fun! I can't wait to make a trip back.

Matthew was all about the airplane ride to Pennsylvania. He could not wait to board. Here are a few pictures of him on the way there and on the way home. I love the pic of him showing his Doggie things out the window. So cute! --P.S. I loved the plane ride, too. The boys sat by Kevin and I got to sit by myself (next to strangers, ha!) and read my stack of magazines that I had saved for the trip!!! Yay!

I had the pleasure of being the Co-Director along with Director, Janelle Wiggin of VBS at our church, Atascocita United Methodist Church this past June!!! It was hard work!! I was stressed, nervous, and little panic-y at times. But once day one got here, it became the time of my life!! It was such an AMAZING week for me. I was sad when it was over. I not only proved to myself that hard work pays off...but I made some and bonded with some FRIENDS FOR LIFE!!! Thank you to everyone that helped make this year's VBS such a success. Oh, did I mention I am going to be the Director next year! Yup. More hard work and fun! I am ready. My Co-Director is going to be Stephanie Dement. Are you ready, Steph?! Nic's Sticks by OPI is my new favorite thing!! I love it. It is a little pricey. It will set you back about 6 bucks. I got mine at Target while on my vacation. I had a pretty pedicure and it got messed up a bit. Being on vacation this little pen came in handy for fixing my pedicure oopsie! It dries in no time. And it fits anywhere. Love it!! It comes in a ton of colors. This one I got is called Carpool Mama. Fun!
