Vacation Bible School Rocks!!!

I had the pleasure of being the Co-Director along with Director, Janelle Wiggin of VBS at our church, Atascocita United Methodist Church this past June!!! It was hard work!! I was stressed, nervous, and little panic-y at times. But once day one got here, it became the time of my life!! It was such an AMAZING week for me. I was sad when it was over. I not only proved to myself that hard work pays off...but I made some and bonded with some FRIENDS FOR LIFE!!! Thank you to everyone that helped make this year's VBS such a success. Oh, did I mention I am going to be the Director next year! Yup. More hard work and fun! I am ready. My Co-Director is going to be Stephanie Dement. Are you ready, Steph?! Click here for our new theme!! I have also posted a short slideshow of pictures of our fun filled Beach Party week. You can see a ton more at our VBS page at AUMC.org. Enjoy!

Disney Double Stroller Duo: That's How They Rolled!

Saw It On Pinterest

Its been a while since my last post. Fail. I love to blog. I don't why I don't just sit and do it. Even if its just for me. Its nice to look back. Like a diary or photo album. ANYWAY. Before Christmas, I saw this super cute idea on Pinterest. Wrapping your kids door with crepe paper. They can bust through it. You can do this for Christmas or their birthdays, too. We did it for Christmas!! It was super fun!! I waited until they were sound asleep and went up and wrapped their door ways with crepe paper in Christmas colors. Christmas morning they busted through it to come and see what Santa brought them. They thought it was so much fun!! I will do it again this year. It might also be fun to do for the last day of school or the first day of summer and or the first day of school. Ideas are endless. Thanks, Pinterest!!
