And Now A Matthew Moment

I think when God blessed me with my sweet Matthew, that maybe he thought I needed to have a few more laughs in my life. And maybe he thought I needed to really learn patience as well. To really think about what is important in life. BECAUSE today...my sweet Matthew gave me a few laughs. And a few sighs. First, I think. Hey, I am cleaning the house. Getting stuff done. Going with the flow when....hark what do I find. A lollipop sitting on a pile of clean clothes!!! For one, how long had it been there? Ok, it was the day before yesterday I folded those clothes and shoulda, woulda, coulda have put them away by now. But, still. What, where, when, and why did Matt do this? He knows where the trash is. It is one of his favorite things to do throw stuff away. Was he saving it for later? Ugh. Ok. Then I am looking high and low for my cell phone. Not here. Not there. Not anywhere. Matt said he did not do it (He is the only child in the house. Of course he did it, because if not then I have to admit that I am crazy!) So, then DUH, I call it. It rang. I found it. He had put it in the toothbrush drawer in my bathroom. He said, "There it is. I remember." Ugh. Seeing is believeing I guess. Here are the photos. Enjoy. Now, what was I doing...

Our running joke is that Noble is SUCH a 2nd child, and ALL boy. I laugh at Matthew moments...then sigh because in a year or so, that'll be Noble. Or sooner--he's been very sick this week and hasn't played much at all. This morning he was playing in the living room with his toys so I snuck away to try to paint my toenails...it got quiet, and I heard him crawl into the dining room. Still quiet, so I knew he was getting into something. I said, "Noble, are you getting the glass jar?" And from the dining room, a small "uh huh." :)

I LOVE and ADORE me some Matthew! He is just so funny. Then again so is Alex, just in a different way. You are blessed with two great, very different kiddos!

Disney Double Stroller Duo: That's How They Rolled!

Saw It On Pinterest

Its been a while since my last post. Fail. I love to blog. I don't why I don't just sit and do it. Even if its just for me. Its nice to look back. Like a diary or photo album. ANYWAY. Before Christmas, I saw this super cute idea on Pinterest. Wrapping your kids door with crepe paper. They can bust through it. You can do this for Christmas or their birthdays, too. We did it for Christmas!! It was super fun!! I waited until they were sound asleep and went up and wrapped their door ways with crepe paper in Christmas colors. Christmas morning they busted through it to come and see what Santa brought them. They thought it was so much fun!! I will do it again this year. It might also be fun to do for the last day of school or the first day of summer and or the first day of school. Ideas are endless. Thanks, Pinterest!!
