My anniversary present? Ehem. I think not.

So, my DH gave me an iPad for my/ our anniversary. I was totally surprised and so excited when he gave it to me. I have really had a blast with it. I super duper heart it! On our recent trip to SF though I realized that maybe Maxi (my iPad ) was not intended for just me. Maybe when KP gave it to me he was planning on Maxi being a family present. I suddenly felt like Marge Simpson, when Homer gave her a bowling ball for her birthday. The bowling ball was for her, but it had been inscribed with Homer's name on it. He bowled. She did not. KP watches The Simpsons everyday after work. I too watch on occasion. Anyway, in SF each morning I would awake to Maxi's white light glow on KPs face. Then if it wasn't KP it was the boys using her. I don't mind sharing Maxi don't get me wrong. Its just that the boys have been clocking a ton of time with Maxi and making me the last in line. Hello! My present. Right? The card did say it was "To" me. :S Sent on the Sprin...

Where my girls at? I need some love and understanding. The kind only a girl can give.

Today is one of those days. You know the kind. Nothing fits. Nothing looks good or feels good. Day 3 of your period and you are bloated and puffy and all you really want to do is stay in bed by yourself and eat a whole pizza and a tub of ice cream and watch movies all day!! That's the kind of day I am having!!! Only thing is I am on vacation with my Hubby and boys and I am trying to not let my raging hormones win and turn me into Reagan from The Exorcist . Thus ruining our vacation. I changed my clothes (the same 2 shirts) 3 times and tried my hair this way and that way and sighed a lot, the whole time the boys all 3 of them just sat and watched as patiently as they could. Not understanding why I could not just throw on some clothes and go. It only takes boys 5 minutes to get dressed and ready to go anywhere. And they do not care what they wear as long as its comfortable. It doesn 't even have to be clean. Sigh. Once I finally found something to wear we made our way to Fisherma...

16,655 steps and a rat.

Today was our first day in San Francisco. I wore my pedometer all day. I clocked 16,655 steps or 3.15 miles. Woohoo! Four more days to go with tons of walking each day. Yay! Feeling the burn from the steep hills of SF. On our way back to the hotel after dinner though I saw a RAT! Ahhnhhh! I will have nightmares now. Rats. Ugh! Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Night and Day

If you know my boys, then you know which room is which. You can see the one that makes his bed every day and has since he could walk! Then there is the other that will attempt to make it but really could care less about making his bed. I have heard that he has been given a lesson or two by his bed making brother. These pics so remind me of me and my sister's rooms growing up. Which room do you think mine was more like? ;) Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®

Life lessons and a few notes to self.

I am traveling with the familia today. We are San Francisco bound. One our fave cities, for KP and me. Thirteen years ago in August, we spent our honeymoon there. Today we are taking our boys to visit this oh so awesome city by the bay. That said. I must make a note to self for future reference. As already on this flight I have encountered some life lessons. Well, a few actually. First of all, "white" pants no matter how cute, summer-y and outfit making they are, are never a good idea when traveling with young children. With or without kids for that matter. White pants. Not good. One good thing to know about white pants and Chardonnay though is that, Chardonnay does not stain. A lesson I learned when I decided to wear my Chardonnay on my white right pant leg. Ugh! A waste of a free drink coupon. But no stainage . Yay ! Another, thing I learned is that those little beverage cups that the airline serves your drinks in hold a whole lotta drink. When I say I wore the wine, I di...
