Becoming Snooki: Halloween 2010

Its Halloween time. My fave of all the holidays!! I always like to find a costume of a current figure or someone recognizable from TV. Someone with features similar to mine. Most of the time it starts with the hair. The rest is all in the clothes and props. In 1998, I was Monica Lewinsky for Halloween. My hair was cut like hers at the time. I wore a blue dress (remember the infamous blue dress), had a black beret, she was fun to dress up as. In 2007, I was Ugly Betty. It was and still is one of my fave shows. Found the poncho on line. Fixed up my retainer to look like braces. Had a B necklace. See Ugly Brenda pics here: http://brendaandtheboys.blogspot.com/2007/10/ugly-brenda.html. For 2010, I am going to be....Snooki!!! The Jersey Shore is a guilty pleasure of mine for sure! Since the show started I have watched it. Its a train wreck I can't stop looking at. See an older post: http://brendaandtheboys.blogspot.com/2010/01/my-favorite-things-guilty-pleasure-on.html. I chose Snooki cause, well we are short, have long dark hair, girly curves, and well its so fun to mimic her Jersey accent and the things she says. So, to become Snooki, I have made some glasses that she bought in Season 2 of The Jersey Shore in Miami. Here is a sneak peek.

Here is Snooki with her Blinged to the max glasses.

Here are the glasses I bought at Lowe's. Paired with some peel and stick bling from Hobby Lobby. See below for the final result.

Here is my version and my final result of Snooki's shades. This is just a little glimpse into my "becoming Snooki". I borrowed a Bump It from a friend. My pouf is almost perfect. I will post pics of my entire look soon. By the way, I wanna know. What are you going to be for Halloween?
