And Now A Matthew Moment

I am so behind on some of my posts. I hate that but, somethings I have to share no matter what. In the spring while Matthew was in preschool they had a special day called "What I want to be when I grow up". The kids got to dress up like what they wanted to be when they grow up. So, I asked Matthew and he told me. And so we got his costume together. Thanks, Nana for sewing it. And when the day came he woke up and got dressed up. He could not wait to get to school and show Ms. Tiffany and Ms. Stefanie what he wanted to be. I bet you are wondering what it is he said he wanted to be. Am I right? Well, I am not going to tell you. I am going to show you the picture. Yep. I wish I knew what you are guessing as you read. Doctor, lawyer (like dad), pilot (he loves planes). Nope. Well, you might not guess it. The answer is in the picture below. :)

A lion. Yes, a lion. This is a Matthew Moment
after all. Are you surprised!? He is my silly boy.

Too Funny! Yes, I was wondering. I actually thought he would be a "House Husband/Dad" I remember a picture you posted...where you were asked what you wanted to be and you said "MOM"...never expected a Lion. Love those little Matthew Moments! XOXO

Saw It On Pinterest

Its been a while since my last post. Fail. I love to blog. I don't why I don't just sit and do it. Even if its just for me. Its nice to look back. Like a diary or photo album. ANYWAY. Before Christmas, I saw this super cute idea on Pinterest. Wrapping your kids door with crepe paper. They can bust through it. You can do this for Christmas or their birthdays, too. We did it for Christmas!! It was super fun!! I waited until they were sound asleep and went up and wrapped their door ways with crepe paper in Christmas colors. Christmas morning they busted through it to come and see what Santa brought them. They thought it was so much fun!! I will do it again this year. It might also be fun to do for the last day of school or the first day of summer and or the first day of school. Ideas are endless. Thanks, Pinterest!!
